Giving
The First Baptist Church of Colorado Springs is a non-profit organization. Financial gifts are used to support the ongoing ministry of the church, including missions, programs, building upkeep, benevolence fund, and staffing. If you would like to contribute to this ministry you may make your check payable to First Baptist Church of Colorado Springs and mail to 317 E. Kiowa, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Be sure to include your full name and address so that a receipt may be sent to you. Gifts to the church are tax deductable. Information on estate donations is available from the church office, (719) 632-6603 or from finance@firstbaptist-cs.org.

Thank you for your interest in First Baptist Church! We are an American Baptist congregation located in the heart of Colorado Springs, and we invite you to join us in worship and ministry. Our commitment as a community of believers is to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet regularly for worship on Sunday at 10:30 am; church school classes are available for all ages at 9:00 am. If you are new to the community or are just passing through, please introduce yourself when you visit. We will do everything possible to make you feel welcome and to find a place for you in the community of faith. First Baptist Church is a congregation whose faith is centered in the Scriptures. We seek to live in conformity to Jesus Christ, extending the good news of the Gospel to those who do not know him, and serving others through mission work in our community and our broader world.Numerous opportunities exist for you to become acquainted with us, whether you are seeking to deepen or better understand your spiritual life, visiting for a brief time, or looking for a church home, We worship together as a church family, and while our church has a rather formal feel, the atmosphere is welcoming and personal. If you meet with us on Sunday mornings we pray you will have the chance to hear the word of God in a way that affirms you as a person and brings you into a deeper relationship with Him. It's also our prayer that you will connect with others who are intent on learning what it means to follow Jesus. Our fellowship is a supportive one. We constantly seek to care for each other in responsible ways. If you choose to participate in the life of the church we will do what we can to grow with you, both in your knowledge of Scripture and in your ability to serve others. Bible studies, small groups, mission opportunities and worship are all part of what we do together, and we welcome your involvement. We look forward to seeing you! |
